Mt. Faito is a personal travel film shot in Castellammare di Stabia, Campagna. The film captures the city, the beauty of the mountain, the cable car ride, and sweeping views of the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and Capri.
Shot on Fujifilm and emulated to Fujichrome Provia 35mm, using only natural light and unplanned shots, making it a good exercise in composition in situe, and B-Roll recording.
The nostalgic feel of the film comes from a high-grade film emulation applied during post-production. This added halation and grain, giving the visuals a timeless, cinematic character.
