“The Netherlands”
The Netherlands is a personal travel film, shot on location at Zaanse Schans and Utrecht.
Filmed over the course of a single day, it captures the beauty of everyday life
in natural light using just B-roll footage.
The digital capture was later emulated look of 35mm Cinestill film, using a high grade emulation.
This film invites you to experience the Dutch landscape – as if you were there yourself.
The film showcases two aspects of the Netherlands: the lively streets of Utrecht, with its street cats and visits to FEBO,
The other: serene landscapes of Zaanse Schans, featuring historic windmills, nature and the very first Albert Heijn store.
